43 toned out to dwelling fire on terrace drive- reported in the dryer- first on scene John Murray reported fire contained to the dryer with light smoke in the garage- no extension to the rest of the house. Station 43 assisted with ventilation. I received some additional information-- apears the fire started because of dog food that was stuffed in the intake for the dryer.

My name is Tim Burlew, I am volunteer firefighter with Station 43 in Effort,PA. We serve all of Chestnuthill Township and provide mutual aid to other areas. We run approx 1200 calls a year. Previously I was a Volunteer at a combo dept in Murrels Inlet, SC.
